An extraordinary 19th-century hand-painted porcelain plaque depicting two girls tenderly holding a dove—symbolizing peace, love, and innocence. Titled in delicate red script on the reverse, “Deux filles avec la colombe”, the plaque is mounted in an elaborate gilt brass openwork frame featuring radiating scrolls, latticework, and acanthus leaf medallions.

Likely of French origin, this piece was crafted in the style of KPM and other fine continental porcelain portraiture. A breathtaking addition to any gallery wall or curio collection, with timeless romantic appeal.
