Exquisite 19th-century hand-painted portrait on porcelain depicting a regal woman in late 18th-century aristocratic fashion, reminiscent of Marie Antoinette. Signed lower right by artist F.L. Smith, this finely executed piece features delicate brushwork and rich coloration—her voluminous powdered hair, flushed cheeks, and ruby velvet gown framed against a soft, ethereal sky. Mounted on a tufted amber velvet ground and encased in an elaborately molded antique gilt wood frame with rococo detailing and diamond-patterned gilded border. Comes with an original easel stand for elegant display.
