An exquisite late 19th century French portrait miniature, hand-painted on porcelain and housed in an elaborate pierced gilt brass frame. The sitter, identified on the back as Madame Toulière, wears a wide-brimmed hat trimmed in green ribbon with a soft blush bow at her neck—an effortlessly elegant portrayal of Belle Époque femininity.
The frame features intricate openwork filigree and beaded detailing, retaining its original velvet backing and hanging loop. Whether displayed on a tabletop or wall-mounted, this piece adds a refined, romantic presence to any vignette.
