Ornate Gilt Bronze Perched Bird in Vines Frame

An early 20th-century gilt bronze frame crowned by a perched bird among curling vines and finely detailed leaves. Behind the original beveled glass frame fits a beautifully embossed gold paper that brings the warmth and whimsy of the frame to life. Its openwork silhouette surrounds an oval opening, bringing a delicate, sculptural quality to a favorite photograph or small portrait. A warm, decorative accent for a bedside table, writing desk, or vanity.
